Privacy and cookie policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

1. Who are we?

Stockman Solutions is a sole proprietorship providing websites, web apps, AI solutions and advice to small and medium-sized businesses.

  • Name: Stockman Solutions
  • Email: nina@stockmansolutions.com
  • Address: Knokkestraat 397, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium
  • Company (VAT) number: BE1028880186

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect data we need to deliver our services or to get in touch with you.

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number (if provided), sector, type of request (website, web app, AI solution, consulting) and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, referring website and time of visit. This data is collected through cookies and analytics tools.
  • Communication: emails, WhatsApp messages or other messages you send us.

3. What do we use your data for?

  • To respond to your request or questions.
  • To prepare a quote, proposal or plan of action.
  • To improve our website and services.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as invoicing and accounting.

In most cases the legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract or steps taken prior to it (art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interests such as marketing and website optimisation (art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). Where we explicitly ask for permission, for example for analytics cookies, the basis is your consent (art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR).

4. How long do we keep data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected for:

  • Contact requests and correspondence: 24 months after the last contact. After that this data is automatically and permanently deleted from our database, unless a longer retention period is required for legal or tax reasons.
  • Invoicing and accounting data: 7 years, in line with Belgian tax rules.
  • Analytics data via Google Analytics: 14 months.

5. Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website.

5.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They do not store personal data.

5.2 Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous visitor statistics. This lets us see how the website is used without identifying individual visitors. Google Analytics 4 anonymises IP addresses by default.

Google may set cookies such as:

  • _ga — distinguishes unique visitors (retention: 2 years).
  • _ga_<container-id> — keeps session state (retention: 2 years).

We ask for your consent before analytics cookies are placed. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the website.

More information on how Google handles data can be found in the Google privacy policy and the Google cookie statement.

6. Who do we share data with?

We do not sell your data. We only share data with processors we use to run our services:

  • Supabase — for storing contact form data and hosting the database.
  • Google Analytics — for anonymous website analytics.
  • Resend — for sending email notifications from the contact form.
  • Hosting and infrastructure partners — for keeping the website available online.

We have data processing agreements in place with these parties that meet European data protection standards. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS), secured access to our systems and regular updates.

8. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:

  • The right to access your data.
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate data.
  • The right to erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • The right to restriction of processing.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to object to processing.
  • The right to withdraw your consent for cookies and tracking.

To make a request, send an email to nina@stockmansolutions.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA).

9. Changes

We may update this privacy and cookie policy from time to time, for example when our services or legislation change. The most recent version is always available on this page.
